For our office in Poznań we are looking to fill the position:
Community Engineer
The ideal candidate is able to manage tasks and priorities dynamically, as well as willing to learn and try new things. Effective and efficient communication skills are also important.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a complex system running MediaWiki and various extensions
- Helping with problem assessment and bug reporting
- Developing features to assist & automate Community Support
- Leading communication between Developers, Community Support and Users
- Limited data mining
- Ad hoc bug fixing
Requirements
- Modern web standards: HTML5, CSS3, you know... the works ;)
- PHP & JavaScript
- Basic backend stuff (Linux & MySQL)
- How to effectively talk to humans in fluent English

Wikia offers a salary of 4000–8000 PLN per month (gross, depending on experience), plus stock options.
