French (Remote)
- French Content Editor Internship
All positions are open remote in France or other French-speaking countries
Wikia is looking for a French Content Editor Intern to join our team to grow and expand international content.
You will be part of Wikia's international content production team, editing and creating content according to the latest trends of the pop culture. You should enjoy writing about the latest console games, the coolest movies, and the most popular series, all in French language.
This is a part-time internship position. Hours are flexible, though we would like a minimum of 10 hours/week remotely.
Responsibilities
- Writing content on French wikis according to assigned projects in a various number of gaming and entertainment wikis.
- Searching for the latest news and presenting those to the French community.
- Identify current trends within your language community.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Passion for entertainment and gaming topics
- Have excellent French language skills (preferably first language or extremely advanced) and being able to communicate with an advanced level of English
- Wikia experience as a user is a plus
- Professional article writing experience (formerly worked for game/entertainment magazines or newspapers) is a plus
