Polish-speaking Helper TeamEdit

Do you love working with wikis? Could you be the advocate and voice for more than 4000 Polish wikis at pl.Wikia.com? Do you want to learn more about supporting communities?

Wikia is aiming to build a volunteer team of Polish-speaking helpers.

If you have a passion for wikis, forums and communities and you want to get heavily involved in multiple Wikia sites, please send an email (including your user name and Skype name), in English, to marc@wikia-inc.com.

You must have an extremely high level of fluency in written Polish, preferably as your first language. You will also need to be able to communicate in written English. A basic level of wiki experience is required, the more experience the better.

Example Helper TasksEdit

• Supporting wiki communities and helping them grow by providing help, advice, and practical assistance.
• Helping wiki founders to improve their search engine optimization.
• Building up the Polish forums and providing a space for users to help each other
• Translating new features from English to Polish.
• Editing Polish help pages
• Organising "spotlights" - small images to promote wikis across Wikia.
• Choosing topics to focus on and trying to increase traffic to those wikis.
• Discussing plans with other International helpers using Skype IM.
