Recruiting Coordinator (San Francisco, CA - FT Contract)Edit

Wikia is looking for a talented Recruiting Coordinator to deliver results by applying his/her experience, organizational skills, analytical skills, and awareness while coordinating Wikia’s hiring process. This work is often delivered on an urgent basis to one's hiring manager, client group, director, manager, and/or peers. A Recruiting Coordinator’s work has impact on external candidates and a broad variety of internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities Edit

  • Respond to urgent needs and business requests such as scheduling interviews, organizing travel arrangements for candidates, and preparing candidate paperwork
  • Consistently deliver high quality work in a high-paced, dynamic work environment by managing time and effort across activities, executing processes that may not have defined procedures, taking initiative to complete unanticipated or ad hoc tasks, and delivering work according to timelines
  • Create and distribute accurate employment-related information in a manner that is clear and timely
  • Assist in solving problems and producing solutions by collecting relevant data, seeking out assistance from others, and taking the initiative in the absence of a project lead to resolve pressing issues
  • Keep others apprised of and involved in work by communicating status of tasks to project leads and team members

Desired Skills & Experience Edit

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems based on a thorough analysis of available information and progress rapidly in the face of various competing demands
  • Ability to ensure the accuracy of highly detailed information in documents or electronic files
  • Adept at making smart decisions while remaining calm, navigating ambiguous situations, and adjusting easily to change
  • Skilled in sharing written and verbal information in a clear, timely and appropriate manner, and facilitating meetings and presentations
  • Team player who acts with integrity and self awareness
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel, and Google Docs
