Wikia is looking for a Yield Optimization Manager with experience in the online advertising industry to join the team and make an immediate impact on Wikia’s network. This person will assess the performance of Wikia's advertising partners and revenue strategy as a whole, make recommendations for improving both, and then help to make the improvements happen!

This position is full-time, based out of our San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue data to determine revenue by partner, placement, country, and other relevant details and make recommendations for optimizing in each of those areas.
• Develop and manage relationships with new and existing ad and publisher partners to effectively monetize Wikia’s global network.
• Actively and continually review and optimize display ad tags across over 3 billion monthly ad impressions.
• Monitor campaigns and ad tags to ensure delivery and performance.
• Troubleshoot creative and technical problems as they arise.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in an online advertising environment, with specific experience working with ad networks and exchanges.
• Familiarity with DoubleClick for Publishers, Google Ad Manager, or other advertising platforms.
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and other internet-based programming languages.
• Desire to learn and adapt to the unique challenges of a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and analytical skills and incredible attention to detail.
