Wikia is seeking a front-end focused web developer to help build the next generation of Wikia products. Our Front-End team works closely with the Design and Application Engineering teams to create functional, beautiful interfaces. The position will work as part of Wikia's San Francisco technical team and will work closely with the technical team in Poznan, Poland.
This position is full-time, based out of our San Francisco office.
- Build rapid prototypes to test interaction and experience.
- Lend technical guidance to product and sales teams for upcoming features
- Bring ideas to life by writing production-ready HTML and CSS
Desired Skills & Experience
- Photoshop or The Gimp
- For bonus points, you should be familiar with some of these items.
- Semantic HTML5 architecture
- MediaWiki experience
- Image optimization
