Largest European Internet Deal of 2010 Doubles Wikia’s German Audience
(DLD CONFERENCE) MUNICH, Germany, January 25, 2010 – Wikia, Inc. today announced the company’s largest German acquisition with the purchase of WebsiteWiki http://websitewiki.wikia.com making Wikia Germany profitable. WebsiteWiki, the largest wiki in the German language, and one of the five biggest wikis worldwide, offers the richest resource of information about the technologies and technical attributes of websites in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With nearly 1.3 million pages of content, visitors to WebsiteWiki can access comprehensive information regularly updated by an active community focused on websites in these three countries.
