Resistance reduces damage of the specified element. Weakness is just negative resistance.

Known resistance effects include:

• One of the alignment orders
• Certain Pets
• Certain Sets
• Items in Category:Resist neutral equipment
• Items in Category:Resist earth equipment
• Items in Category:Resist water equipment
• Items in Category:Resist air equipment
• Items in Category:Resist fire equipment

Note: As of Tuesday, May 30th 2006 resists can not exceed 50%.
