Akshara Indic Script Generator is a powerful Indic transliterator that generates the unicode text to ANY target language from the English input text if the supporting 3rd party plug in is installed and configured. By default, Akshara supports Malayalam.
This is an free and open source project that is being developed in Microsoft .Net 2.0 and presently in Developer Beta Stage 2. The by the next beta release, the application could load the 3rd party plug-ins developed by implementing Akshara Plug-In Interfaces using .Net Reflection.
After implementing this, the users and/or the developers will be provided with the source code for developing plug ins for their language.
