Antiques

What makes an item an antique. The typical definition is an antique it that it is an item of some value that is 100+ years old. The value is determined by what someone at any given time would be willing to place on the item. Trade magazines such as Antique Digest and auction houses such as Cowens are typically the best sources for value. Antiques could be something as simple as a trade card created by vendors as collectibles for thier patrons/customers; collect them all and you were someone special. Or an antique could be an ancient wicker lamp.
