The Babylon Project Wiki invites followers of the epic science fiction television series to join the rapidly growing online community

SAN MATEO, Calif., July 30, 2007 - Wikia, Inc. (http://wikia.com) the leading provider of community resources for building and organizing free content on every topic, today announced that The Babylon Project (http://babylon5.wikia.com) has surpassed the 500 article mark and has more than 100,000 users. The Babylon Project, which joins the hundreds of other TV show projects on Wikia, is a fully editable website created and maintained by fans of the popular science fiction television series, ‘Babylon 5.’

The Babylon Project includes comprehensive articles on all five seasons of the series, including information on the people, races, governments and places featured in the show, as well as screen shots and images from the television episodes and the subsequent made-for-TV movies associated with the series. Visitors to the wiki will also find information on the futuristic technology and weapons used by the show’s characters, such as the PPG or Phased Plasma Gun.
