Collaboration of the month is an initiative to encourage edits to help new or quiet Wikia to make improvements.
The Pen Pal Wiki is a directory of people who would like to get a pen pal or e-pal to communicate with, particularly in other languages, cultures, and countries.
You can help out this month by doing some of the following:
- Listing yourself
- Promoting Pen Pal Wiki
- Translating Pen Pal Wiki into your language
- Making a new logo and favicon
- Making suggestions and talking about them on the Collaboration Talk Page

[edit] Pen Pal Wiki
This wiki, which was only recently founded, is intended to be a multilingual directory of pen pals (particularly for people learning a language). So far, barely anyone's used it, and none of them properly (with the exception of myself). The following things need to happen, and could happen if Pen Pal Wiki was Collaboration of the Month:
- It needs to be translated into more languages. I think a good aim is a minimum of five.
- It needs to have more people listed. We could aim for ten people in the English language, and five in the others.
- It needs to be promoted, so that people know about it and can use it.
- It needs to have nice templates, designs, pictures (ie. logo and favicon), etc.
I think, as a grand finale halfway through or at the end of the month, it could have a "Grand Opening", promoted as the time at which it is working well, looks good, and has enough users and languages to be taken seriously.
