The alternative history Wikia is an interesting collection of virtual histories, asking the question how human history would have been affected if certain things had gone differently. The current list of histories includes scenarios like "In 1950, Gaitán is elected president of Colombia" and "The Bubonic Plague decimates Europe, killing nearly 2/3 of the population and reducing the Renaissance to ashes". The wiki has been growing rapdily since its inception in January and, in my opinion, has the potential to bring together the large althist community on the web.
