Featured Wikicity

The Althistory Wikicity is an interesting collection of virtual or alternative histories, asking the question how human history would have been affected if certain things had gone differently. The current list of histories includes scenarios like "In 1950, Gaitán is elected president of Colombia".

The wiki, with 350 pages, has been growing rapdily since its inception in January, and the community are looking forward to growth. It already makes extensive use of templates and categories. The wiki has a very welcoming home page, explaining the goals of the site, and how newcomers can contribute. It was reported as being interesting and fun to read when it was nominated for Wikicity of the week.
