Nonciclopedia is an Italian parody of Wikipedia. The site is a sister project of the English Uncyclopedia, the French Désencyclopédie and the Spanish and Latin American Inciclopedia, founded on November 3, 2005 as the Italian transposition of Uncyclopedia, in two years Nonciclopedia has walked on its own path: even if they both share love for politically uncorrect, nonsense and linguistic humour, Nonci learned to avoid verbosity, illogicity and recurrent jokes, thus distincting itself from its bigger sister.
So far Nonciclopedia is about to reach 6000 articles. Along with the main encyclopedic content, this number includes the pages from UnNews, UnQuote, Manuals and Horroscope.

With almost 5000 pages created in the last year, Nonciclopedia is one of the most active and fast-growing wikias - and its quality policy is definitively more thorough than that of other uncyclopedias. Moreover, it's among the most popular Italian websites and the attention of media about it is quickly increasing.
