The Star Wars Wikia, known as Wookieepedia, is an online encyclopedia devoted to collecting information from the Star Wars films, novels, comics, video games, animated series, and more.
The site launched in March 2005 and has grown to over 42,000 articles and includes versions in many other languages.
The Star Wars Wikia has a massive community and several community projects, including the Improvement drive, and the Wookieepedian of the Month. Both film and expanded universe information is welcome, and articles are generally written from an "in-universe" point-of-view.
