Uncyclopedia
- This wiki was featured November 2005.
![]() Uncyclopedia is a humorous parody of Wikipedia, containing entries that strive to be entirely misinformational. It has over 20,000 articles and more than half a million front-page hits, making it, according to very carefully selected stats, bigger and more popular than a certain wiki concerned with Bill Shatner's toupee. Uncyclopedia is hosted by Wikia, but is a sista project rather than a Wikicity proper, being hosted on a separate domain and utilizing the Creative Commons CC-BY-NC-SA license rather than the GFDL. No one at Uncyclopedia knows what these letters mean. They just chose a different license to be contrary. Uncyclopedia has various elements that imitate Wikipedia's sister projects, including UnNews (parodying Wikinews), and large swathes of the site are devoted to in-house jokes such as "making up Oscar Wilde quotes." It has a splendid featured article setup to highlight the best pages the site has to offer, a featured image voting page to determine which original images will be shown on the front page, and a wide variety of categories organizing entries on every imaginable subject, from Kings of Iceland to the creation of the United States of Canada to the politics and history of the Disney Empire. There are full-fledged spinoffs of Uncyclopedia in German, French and Polish, as well as many limited namespaces for other languages within Uncyclopedia proper, including Russian, Spanish and Blog. Visit Uncyclopedia's comprehensive Community Portal, the scenic Village Dump, and the "About" page, which unfortunately contains some facts. |

As Uncyclopedia is an Unwiki, I don't think it should qualify for voting. Therefore I vote for it. --12.198.33.95 21:48, 3 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- I would have to oppose this... that wiki doesn't need help, and we don't need to associate Uncyclopedia with the other Wikicities. Almafeta 17:19, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Unfortunatly negative votes have already been disallowed.--80.5.160.5 00:20, 7 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Which vote? 1+sqrt(-1) is invalid. --CocoaZen 22:56, 23 Oct 2005 (UTC)- To quote the text above
Neither will negative, non-real or irrational voting "amounts".)This is neither:- Negative
- Non-Real
- Irrational
- --ElvisFromUncyc 10:55, 25 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Actually its a complex number, which I am pretty sure is non-real. --Paulgb 17:43, 26 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- As I understand it the sqrt(-1) bit is imaginery (the 1+ being real), as you say as a whole it's complex, I'm not sure there is a concept of "Unreal" numbers as wikipedia:Real_numbers was a response to the imagibery part rather than vice verse. --80.5.160.5 08:26, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)
