Wikia - creating communities

Wookieepedia is an online encyclopedia devoted to the Star Wars universe and fandom. Both film and expanded universe information is welcome.

In its soon two-year run, Wookieepedia has grown to over 41,000 articles and includes versions in eight different languages. Over the last year, the wikia has seen its articles become more fleshed out in general—particularly on major Star Wars topics—and the community strengthened and expanded through several community meetings and a new forum. New articles are added daily, and Wookieepedia keeps growing at an impressive rate.

The Wookieepedia community collaborates on several projects, including the Improvement Drive and several niche WikiProjects.
