Mozilla Firefox 是一個自由、跨平台的網路瀏覽器，由 Mozilla 基金會和 數百位志願者開發而成。 Firefox 在發行後 99 天內就突破兩千五百萬次下載，目前已經成為最廣為使用的自由及開放原始碼軟體之一，在家庭用戶方面的使用情形尤其普遍。在 2005 年 10 月 19 日，也就是 1.0 版發行後的 344 天，Firefox 下載數突破一億大關（Wikipedia 有更多資料）。

內建功能

Firefox 版的 Google 工具列包含許多實用的功能。工具列的排列可以自訂，您可以新增、移除或者重新排列 這些功能的按鈕：

• Google 搜尋：在任何網頁快速使用 Google 搜尋
• 拼字檢查：任何網頁上的表格都能用，包括維客頁面
• 文字翻譯器：把滑鼠游標指到的任意字翻譯成許多語言
• AutoLink：自動連結文字，例如地址以及 ISBN 號碼
• PageRank 顯示：顯示您目前瀏覽網頁的 Google page rank
• 搜尋字詞標明：高亮度顯示您剛剛搜尋的所有字串
• 尋字鈕：輸入一些字並移動到這些字在目前頁面顯示的位置

系統需求

• Windows XP/2000 SP3 以上、Mac OS X 10.2 以上及大多數的 Linux 發行版皆能使用
• Firefox 1.0 以上和 1.5
