Wikia - creating communities

Does anybody have any experience with using Auto Wiki Browser on Wikia wikis? I've tried fiddling around but I keep getting errors of one type or another. The AWB FAQ states that:

You are also able to use other 3rd party wiki's, by entering the URL where index.php of this wiki resides. The wiki must support Query API and Bot API required by AWB. This means that it should have latest HEAD version of MediaWiki or something close to that.

Are these APIs enabled on Wikia?

AWB usage is enabled on Wikia. Before a user can use the browser, he/she must be approved and listed on the AWB checkpage. All requests should be inquired at Wikia talk:AWB/CheckPage. G.He_(Talk!) 04:11, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

This last sentence just up here is not true. I've used AutoWikiBrowser a lot on fr.guildwars.wikia last week. But now, i have a problem. It want me to set up a check page here : [1]. Done! But it still say "user not permitted" when i log AutoWikiBrowser with my future bot account (i asked for the bot flag; still waiting).
