Wikia - creating communities

I see that Wikipedia is now offering to add templates automatically to uploaded files. Is that something that I can add to my Wikia.com wiki? Will 03:56, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

This can be done via your local MediaWiki:Licenses. See w:c:doom:MediaWiki:Licenses and w:c:furry:MediaWiki:Licenses for some examples. The first part is a template name, the last part is the text as it appears in the dropdown menu, and the middle part is the first parameter (optional). --Splarka (talk) 04:39, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Perfect... That'll make it easier to enforce having my members add the fair-use tag to all images they borrow from the site we document. And even the itemImage or ballImage or template for whatever licenced image it is. Dantman (Talk) 06:08, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
