At the top there should be a menu like:

Clicking on 'hide minor edits' will then re-display recent changes with minor edits hidden (bot edits are hidden by default). You shouldn't need to modify anything for any user to simply click 'hide minor edits'. You can, however, edit the text at the top of Recent Changes at MediaWiki:Recentchangestext. --Splarka (talk) 01:15, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

This menu only is shown if there's a $3 parameter in MediaWiki:Rclinks, as it's explained in Help:Recent changes. This parameter is not included in non-english languages so it must be added by hand. However, the message can't be edited for all languages in a single wiki, only in the language that has set in that wiki, so the users that have been set his language to english will have the menu, but other languages no. --Ciencia Al Poder ¿Algo que decir? 09:34, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
