Hello there,

we have a sort of annoying malfunction that bothers us for a week by now:

• Uploading new image versions is locked by internal error (original file cannot be moved to archive folder)
• Several images "vanish" right after being uploaded - [1] (there is a image description page but no image)
• Several old image versions cannot be erased.

I've already informed the German wikia fork but there's no reaction for three days by now. _{: [ defchris ] : [ leave-a-message ] :} 13:38, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] File history broken

Look where points the old revision link of that image: [3]. And it seems to happen randomly to some wikias. Look as example: [4], [5], [6]. --Ciencia Al Poder (talk) ^-@WikiDex 13:43, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks a bundle, Ciencia Al Poder. This is a known problem for some time now, but it's very good to have more examples on different wikis (to track down the issue). As far as I can say, the old images themselves are not lost, only the path is broken for some reason. Further reports regarding other images are welcome, of course. --rieke 19:43, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
