Wikia - creating communities

I'm keen to start a resource on all things to do with nappies. You see I'm a real nappy user and there is a lot of information out there about all the different kinds, brands etc, not to mention all the washing advice and info on disposable nappies spread out over many online retailers, but there isn't a central place to go for information on everything (there's the real nappy campaign and WEN and whilst they have good stuff they certainly don't have everything) It sounds pretty niche, and I guess it is, but it would be a valuable tool for those tht need it, and making it editable is key to getting as much real info on all the aspects as possible- after all there is the environmental issues, washing techniques, electicity consumption, toiletries, all the dispoable nappy info, and even adult incontinence if it's added! I can add a lot and am happy to administrate it but I don't know everything (despite insisting that I do:) I was thinking of calling it Nappy Wiki instead of Real Nappy Wiki, as I want to make sure all the issues surrounding the topic are covered, not just real nappies, although I'm sure that would be the majority of it. So, is this the sort of thing that is acceptable? Has it been done? Is it being done somewhere I have yet to find? And what do I do now??? Thanks for your help Sheilapop 21:22, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
