Wikia - creating communities

Due to a long-standing vandalism problem, the Star Wars wiki (Wookieepedia) decided to prohibit newly-registered users from moving pages for several days. I was told to post here to request the change to be implemented. So, here I am. Kuralyov 16:56, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

I'm not a dev for wikia, but I don't think they'll let you do that. You might need your own server with your own devs if you want something like that. Dantman (Talk) 18:22, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

It's already restricted to no more than 2 page moves in a certain time period for non-admins. Are you still have problems even though people can only make 2 moves? Angela (talk) 14:26, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Yes, as it turns out: though new or apparently-new vandal usernames are only making two moves (sometimes three or four, technically, when they move talk pages as well), it does appear that nearly all of them do it first thing, then move on to page blanking.
