[edit] Permanence of article
Presumably the article remains after the date of happening? (I will find out the answer for myself quite soon at NZ Wikia.) Robin Patterson 21:35, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- The articles are just like ordinary pages and will stay there. Angela talk 01:41, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Category listing order
My first item (for 29 Jan) lists under "2" (as shown in the above link); is that the best placing? Robin Patterson 21:35, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- It sorts by date. Basically, anything on the calendar will be under 2 (for 2007), but this is the only way of correctly sorting them by date. Angela talk 01:41, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
I got around this over on WikiJET by creating a new calendar in its own "Calendar" category (using the <calendar category=Calendar /> code) and I made the Calendar category a sub-category of the Events category. It does mean that each event article has to be a member of 2 categories (Events and Calendar), but it means they're sorted properly in the Events category at least. [edit] Number of events displayed
Is there any way to set the number of events displayed in the summary box? I entered April Fool's into the Scratchpad calendar but it didn't appear in the box, although the article was created. Is this because it's too far in the future (i.e. doesn't occur in the next 2 months)? Is there a way of changing this parameter? Bobo12345 03:09, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
- By default, three months are shown. You can change this using <calendar numberofmonths=6 /> (change the 6 to however many months you want to show). Angela talk 03:59, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! Bobo12345 07:57, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
