[edit] Babel
Can we use these for Babel rather than having each Wikicity doing its own? Add_Babel_templates isn't clear about it. Robin Patterson 06:14, 2 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, you can. I added that.--Pat 14:13, 4 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- Problem: the Babels have in it, meaning you still need to create many category pages. I suggest that we either modify the Babels or create special cross-wiki Babels with syntax like:
<table class="lang-blockN"><tr> <td class="lang-codeN">en</td> <td class="lang-descriptionN">This user is a native <strong>English speaker</strong>. </td></tr></table>
- and ask each user to create a user page on Central Wikia and add themselves to the appropriate user categories.

[edit] How long should we continue to say "wikicities"?
Using "" must surely confuse a few newcomers and make extra typing work for everybody. I hope a change to , or similar, is on the drawing-board. Robin Patterson 02:16, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- Agreee. --Asp 15:31, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- Both of those work as of now, I've tested my template on various Wikia by typing in wikia: instead of wikicities: and it works. :) --Jack Phoenix (Contact) 16:07, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- I changed it.--Pat 09:13, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
