Wikia - creating communities

The Klingon encyclopedia is a Wikia which started life as a Wikipedia. This encyclopedia in the constructed language of Klingon was felt to be unsuited to the goals of the Wikimedia Foundation. It was closed during Wikimania 2005 and finally moved to a new home at Wikia in December 2006.

Wikipedia defines the Klingon language (tlhIngan Hol in Klingon) as the constructed language spoken by Klingons in the fictional Star Trek universe.

This wiki is a sister project to the toki pona encyclopedia which is another rejected Wikipedia project.
