Community Specific Press Releases are a great way to build awareness and momentum around a wiki focused on a particular segment of the press. It's not only the best or most active wikis that we're promoting. We're also looking to help the smaller wikis. If you see a release on a topic you're interested in, please check out the wiki and help out!

If you're involved with a wiki that you think would benefit from a press release, add it to the suggestions section below. If you want to work on a press release with your community, please do that on your wiki and add links to it below when it's ready. Don't forget there are many other ways to promote your wiki.

  • Modern Wiki, A wiki where people can get to know better things of our modern society, the Modern wiki is all about everything modern and present in the world from the years of 1980 to the present. From Modern defense and military, to modern structures, from modern periods of time, to modern technology and inventions and even more!!! We encourage all fans of modern society to join and help us contribute!!!
  • The Solar Cooking Archive Wiki, one of our larger wikis in both the Technology and Ecology categories, is approaching its one-thousandth article since its launch in December 2006. It documents numerous efforts to teach and popularize solar cooking in all nations, but especially those regions where growing trees are becoming scarce due to the desperate search for firewood. Solar Cooking Archive Wiki is a partner site with www.solarcookers.org, the site for the non-profit organization Solar Cookers International (SCI), and www.solarcooking.org, an educational website. A press release about the wiki community's achievements, ready to go out when the 1,000th article is reached, would help to spread the word about their important mission.
  • Bully Wiki, one of the small wikis in the Gaming category, reached it's 500th article since it's launch in December 2007. The Wiki is an online information guide to Bully, the 2006 video game from Rockstar. A press release about it's 500th article will hopefully spread the word to fellow Bully fans.
