Wikia - creating communities

"this Wikia is looking for a new "founder" to adopt it!"

I think Alternative Science is a useful wikicity and I would like to help it become a thriving enterprise. However, I have my hands full with several other wikicities that I contribute to. I have added its rss feed to those that I monitor and I will try to spend more time there in the future. JWSchmidt 23:13, 4 May 2005 (UTC)

Maybe the Alternative Science and Protoscience wikicities could be merged. In my mind, the general category that would include both is "science outside of the mainstream." I created Protoscience for a specific purpose (a place for exploring "science of the soul") that did not work out (people of "faith" are reluctant to be scientific). I retain an interest in "fringe science" and efforts to make Alternative Sciences and Protosciences useful. I will continue to develop the Protoscience wikicity at a slow rate (I am putting more effort into other wikicities). --JWSchmidt 17:10, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)

what exactly are the _minimum_ requirements for adoption? I could say for instance promise to devote one or two days a month exclusively to the development of this Wikia.

I think its a worthy endeavor that will require a very well informed and cogency conscious lead Author.

On the other hand, There are more pressing things on my agenda fer sure.
