Wikia - creating communities
This is a template for the main page of new wikis. Just type {{subst:wikia:Main}} on the main page. See Scratchpad:User:Angela/Main for a demo.
Two of the templates used here (Left box and Right box) can also be used with Template:Top to make simple tables. See Template talk:Top.
[edit] Problems using it elsewhere
Can some expert please look into this. I tried the standard "{{subst..." on the Psychology wiki but got an error message. So I tried to just copy the edit box over; similar result:

A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. - This won't work on MediaWiki 1.5. We might be moving to 1.6 soon to solve this and other problems. Angela (talk) 05:48, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

- Chinese (written in Traditional, meant for generic consumption)
- Traditional Chinese for Taiwan (written in Traditional, uses Taiwan-specific terminology)
- Finnish (Suomi)
