RelentlessRecusant: When did you join Wikia?
- H*bad: I joined a while back. I can't exactly remember.
RelentlessRecusant: What was your first Wikia wiki that you edited?
- H*bad: Wookieepedia.
RelentlessRecusant: What drew you to it?
- H*bad: Probably because I love Star Wars.
RelentlessRecusant: How did you find out about it?
- H*bad: I was seeing what types of wikis that [W]ikia had [sic].
RelentlessRecusant: From Central?
- H*bad: Yep.
RelentlessRecusant: Awesomeness. How regularly do you contribute to Wikia?
- H*bad: Do you mean the main site? Wikia or just any Wikia wiki?
RelentlessRecusant: Any wiki
- H*bad: Everyday.
RelentlessRecusant: Which wiki do you contribute to most?
- H*bad: Halo Fanon
RelentlessRecusant: Do you administrate any Wikia wikis?
- H*bad: Yep. One, Halo Fanon.
RelentlessRecusant: Do you have any opinions on the open intellectual eccentricities of a wiki? How would you respond to those that cite a wiki as unreliable?
- H*bad: I would say, that where ever they got their idea that their opinion is correct, was lying. Most wikis that I have been to have been reliable. Just check the sources at the bottom of the page if you want.
RelentlessRecusant: Cool [… H]ow did you think up your username?
- H*bad: I used to be on a site called HRWiki. One character on the site that they were making wiki pages about, was a character named Homestar Runner. And another one was Strong Bad. So I took the H and the star from Homestar. And the Bad from Strong Bad
RelentlessRecusant: [I]nteresting.
H*bad: What would you say that your experience on Wikia has been like?
- RelentlessRecusant: Extremely entertaining. I am an active contributor, and go on several times a day. It is an intellectually satisfying and a sociall [sic] gratifying experience. I feel a slight sense of pride to contributing to one of the world's fastest growing online free databases, and also enjoy interactions with my fellow Wikians. It's a bonding experience...editors of a Wikia are normally very deep into its subject. Therefore, people of the same interests are matched with a high specificity via different Wikia.
H*bad: So you have been with Wikia...how long?
- RelentlessRecusant: I joined Wikia in August 2006, and have been a Wikian for about 10 months now.
H*bad: I see. So what wiki to you contribute to often?
- RelentlessRecusant: Halopedia, the Halo Wikia. I am a bureaucrat there as well[.] My interests include Halo and video games, so I fit there rather well. ;-)
H*bad: So, which [W]ikias are you an admin on?
- RelentlessRecusant: [FBLA Wikia, F.E.A.R. Wikia, Halopedia, Halo Fan Fiction Wikia, Rainbow Six Wikia, Wing Commander Wikia, Half-Life Wikia, House Wikia, Gears of War Wikia and Neuroscience Wikia.]
H*bad: Which ones are your favorite?
- RelentlessRecusant: Probably Halo and Neuroscience Wikias [sic.]
H*bad: I see. So how did you come up with your username?
- RelentlessRecusant: I came up with "Relentless" by random impulse when I made my Wikipedia account. I have no idea what minuitae [sic] of that moment spurred me to get such a warlike username. ;-) When I joined Wikia, I was infatuated with the word "Recusant" because of the Recusant-class light Mon Calamari destroyer of Star Wars. Put 2 and 2 together to make 4. ;-)
H*bad: So why did you come to [W]ikia?
- RelentlessRecusant: I first joined Wikia by editing Halopedia in August '06. I was transferring a set of Wikipedia articles that were about to be AfD-ed to a place where my work could be preserved and used constructively.
H*bad: So, which wikis that you administer at, do you think you should be more active?
- RelentlessRecusant: FBLA Wikia[.] It is going to be featured at the Future Business Leaders of America national conference shortly, I believe[.]
