Wikia currently has around 5500 wikis because this month, we reached and passed our 3000 wiki milestone! Well done to all the Wikians out there for creating all the amazing content on Wikia.

[edit] Janitors

Wikia announces the release of the janitor user group. This new group of users have admin-like abilities on all but a few Wikia wikis. They also have extra tools to help clean up cross-wiki spam and vandalism. This doesn't mean they replace local administrators; they're simply there to help out at a more global level and in emergencies where no local administration is available.

The first two janitors are Datrio and GHe. It is likely that more will be added in the future.
