[edit] Deleting

Hello, when you are deleting lot of similiar pages, where it's clear it is vandalism, you can avoid flooding recent changes by entering "vandalism" or "numbers" or "spam", rather than pages content. If you are sysop, you are trusted enought to not excuse of your every action on two lines in rc. :) Szoferka 06:04, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

When there is a flood of vandalism, however, deleting is much faster when you don't have to modify the edit summary... just open each article in a new tab, click delete, click delete ^_^. --Splarka (talk) 06:07, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

I think I deleted about 200 of those pages yesterday, and rolled back some more. If I had changed the edit summary each time, I probably wouldn't have managed to do that in an hour... ;) I thought about doing it another way, but then decided that "quick" might be better than "silent", especially because I'm new here - although I generally keep the suggested edit summary when deleting no-history-vandalism, because that makes it easier to detect in the Block log. Ive been wrongfully blocked. I removed content on smash wiki page called lab, because i thought it wasnt real. I got a warning from some other user and I stopped. Then out of nowhere, clarinet hawk blocked me.Tritem 19:14, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Template calls broken on long articles

On pages with many template calls, all calls after an arbitrary starting point are broken. This is probably related to some fixed limit in the code - WP introduced something similar in the past, IIRC.
