Wikia - creating communities

Hello. You are now on Central Wikia. Pages in the main space (and other namespaces too) are for coordination of all Wikia wikis. Central Wikia is not a young sister of Wikipedia and do not have that kind of profile. I'm sure you can move pages your made to any apriopriate wiki, e.g. in Category:Places or even start a new Wikia for them. Szoferka 07:31, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for the comments. I'm in the process of moving. Can I maintain the first page Digital Villages where it is now and make the links from the front page to the more detailed pages? Digital Villages

If you mean keeping this page here, then you can, but pages will be deleted after a week. If you are now moving to other wiki, then you strongly should keep the sctructure of the pages. :) Szoferka 07:48, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

I did move the page to http://cities.wikia.com/wiki/User:Digitalvillages. I hope that's right. I will edit the first page to have the links to the new page. I have taken away all the information from the linked pages so they can be deleted. The links are referring to the new pages. Is this what you recommend? Digital Villages 08:49, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

Yes, it's ok, but you should make links in wiki format (e.g. [[Europe|continent]] or [[Digital_Villages:#The VT6 Road Information System|The VT6 Road Information System]]) to let know other people there is somethings on this links or not. I'm sure you can make a subpages of your main page insted of section ([[Digital Villages/The VT6 Road Information System]]) or even, if the sections are about whole cities, make them a separate pages. I'm not sure about Cities wiki policies, but you can ask one of admin there. You can find list of admins on w:c:cities:Special:Listusers/sysop. Ok, then I'll delete pages from Central.
