[edit] Welcome
Welcome, Joeyaa, to the Central Wikia!
We are a friendly community here; most of us are active on an individual wiki, and many of us are active on more than one.
If you're looking for help, use the Community Portal or Help Desk. For finding a helper or a staff, speaking your language, see the page Staff and Helpers by language. If your wiki needs something done, leave the details on the Volunteer Portal. If you need assistance from a member of staff, leave a message with one of the Community Team.
You can get live help from community members and staff in our IRC channel. There are also channels for larger Wikia and their communities. Here you can socialize and get to know your community!
If you have an idea for a new wiki, please let us know! Check out new wikis and see if any of them interest you. A directory of existing wikis is also available.
Finally, please keep an eye on the recent changes to see what the community is up to and to help revert spam and vandalism.
Enjoy! --Balistic Pve (T/C/E) 03:28, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your anti-spam edits! Angela

[edit] Bot Expert Required
Hi Joey,Thanks for popping in the other day. Sorry about the Avatar, I badly needed to step back and have put efforts in elsewhere, I did anyway - but upped the ante so to speak. I'm hoping I'll be back sooner rather than later. (I'm a sad old Avatar fan who misses scrutinizing the episodes)
888 is actually helping me with a wiki thats in been through the wars, is in the dog house and is playing dead. I have asked Zeroo2001 also. If that's a team you can work with :) let me know and we can let the bots loose. 100 pages 90% bad 50% minimum stubs (mostly one line), duplicates and I stopped counting at 400 needed pages/red links. I'm trying to adopt it before it ends up in the Battersea Dogs Home :)). It badly needs trusted users. Piandao Talk 20:05, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Trout
You get free fish and the action! Anyhow, I may return to editing that CSS if you really can't fix it. :) иιƒкч? 10:48, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Wiki name change
Hi, Joeyaa. There was something I wanted to ask you. I have a wiki called the [roadtripadventure.wikia.com Road Trip Adventure wiki] and it is about a driving game. The game is part of a series of games called the "Choro Q series", and as a wiki - to increase stats and users - we decided to expand the wiki for it to cover the whole series not just one game. Problem is, we have to start with a name change first and foremost, and I was wondering if you knew anyone on Wikia that is staff or a helper, and could change the name of our wiki and also help us change the wiki as well. Thanks. Tigernose (Talk) 17:55, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yup, that can be easily done, just a change in the configuration setting of its MediaWiki I believe (or something silly in Wikifactory). Just make a request via Special:Contact and it shouldn't be a problem. Good luck with your wiki! ~Joey~ ^Talk^ 18:02, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Problems
This vote thing is causing problems.. Users are fighting over who wins and are taking this way too seriously.. --seahorseruler |Talk (EditCount) Yoshi! 17:56, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
- and surprisingly, its not the nominees, its the voters taking it too seriously.. --seahorseruler |Talk (EditCount) Yoshi! 17:58, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome tool and blog comments
Regarding this report - Forum:New features on Wednesday, March 18th#WWT doesn.27t like blog comments - are you still seeing the issue? If so, can you throw me an example? Thanks! Kirkburn talk contr

- Actually yes, take note that somebody with only one edit which was a blog comment creation was not welcomed. Hope this helps, ~Joey~ ^Talk^ 00:37, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
- Great! Thanks for the support, although you're probably going to want to look at 6 hour server lag o-o ~Joey~ ^Talk^ 02:10, October 2, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Madness?!
Deprecated madness?! I am the Prince of MADNESS! MUAHAHAHAHA! Lol, I laughed at your "Use CSS, not HTML" comment. CSS sucks. T 01:42, October 12, 2009 (UTC)[edit] Thanks
Thanks for fixing the wording in my wikis list, I was thinking of a different way to say that. You are also entirely right, and I agree with you. Thanks again, Ajraddatz Talk 14:38, November 23, 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Bot Help
I am trying to set up a bot on the Wiki Markup Wiki called LS bot I got as far as making another account named LSbot and getting the Auto Wiki Browser... (I think that is what it is called...) But when I tried signing in with AWB it says this account is not authorized to use it. And sends me to a bot check page. I asked for my bot to be approved. Am I going right so far? Also if this is any help I am only going to use this to put stub templates, and add categories to certain pages. I am grateful for any help you can give me.
--LeinardoSmith (talk) 15:31, December 8, 2009 (UTC)
- You'll need to have your bot listed here, you can leave a mesage on the talk page to request it. After that it should work without any issues. --CharitwoTalk 15:52, December 8, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Congratulations
As the logs indicate, you've become a VSTF member. I know you've wanted this for a long time, so congratulations, and good luck. :) Wjxhuang, the 888th Avatar {Talk} 03:47, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Site Meter
Regarding to your message about Site Meter, thanks for taking the time to reply. It is much appreciated. I am not experienced in coding, however, so I couldn't type all the stuff on the RuneScape .js page. If I created an account with Site Meter, and then copied the entire section on Site Meter from their .js page, changing the bit with what Site Meter give me, would that work? Or do I need some of the other stuff on the .js page to make it work? At the moment, Children's Books Wiki doesn't have anything on its .js page. Bethel23 17:05, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
- Interesting question... but I have to be rather blunt and say that I haven't used it before nor have I knowledge of any of it. Best to ask your question at w:c:Runescape:Forum:Index so that somebody who does can help you set it up. Hope that helps! Joey (talk) 23:49, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. I have left a message with the person who added the Site Meter in the first place. Bethel23 12:32, December 11, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for visiting
Just wanted to drop you a quick note and tell you thanks for stopping by Mobsters2: Vendetta Wiki.
Please don't hesitate to drop me a suggestion or a simple hello if you think of anything to improve the M2 wiki.

[edit] Block
Joeyaa why did you block me? I didn't do anything it was my dumb brother. Look i am sorry for what he has caused. i think he might do it again but please accept my apology and unblock me. My brother just wants my life to be miserable. Please unblock me!
- You're going to have to take it up with a local administrator. http://left4dead.wikia.com/wiki/Special:ListUsers/sysop Joey (talk) 04:23, December 21, 2009 (UTC)
- You have now been blocked from all of Wikia as your IP and account have continued to vandalize Wikia. If you have had your account compromised this should give you sufficient time to regain control, and be aware future blocks will be for much longer. Perhaps if you are having problems with your brother then going to your parents would be an option... Good luck. Joey (talk) 05:12, December 21, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Cookie ingredients
I read your note in the forums about a "dismissNotice" cookie. Prompted by that I went searching my FireFox options to see if I could locate such a cookie. I could not.
To be honest I really don't understand cookies and so I wonder if you do understand what function these various cookies serve. All are associated with wikia.com and I can view the content of each.
