Hi Shawn -- It's me Bill, you welcomed me back in Aug. 2008 at Hot Wheels, and lately I've been setting up all the years, Categories, Lists and Templates on Matchbox Wikia. Is there any way of me being a bigger help on there, if not. Could you set up something that would correspond with how Kenny aka Haagar and setting things up like Hot Wheels, where go under the search, there would be castings and years. Hey Multimoog! I saw on your userpage that you are interested in graphic design, so I'd just like to invite you to Logo Creation Wiki. I just started this wiki recently, and the purpose is to create logos for wikis without a logo. It is sort of taking over the logo creation campaign. Hi, Shawn, thanks just seen I've now got a spot light.

Left a comment on your talk page at Tractor Wiki, after your last visit, but assume you not been back since, so will repeat here (parts now redundant); Re-Spotlight:- Cheers, but a fair number of pages need tidying up first really as are messy from importing them to build on to,. I've done the Welcome box and got rid of all the Uncategorised pages that were items on the page [|Wendy] pointed me to, (till I started messing with templates). But would like to sort these coding bits out as the imported WP pages look bad, and for some of the others I was trying to get the info boxes working on / build a Tractor Wiki version for. whose bast to sort out the Wiki code stuff ? (some Info boxes display markup code characters, and Template:Converts got a bug in it ad gives an error message see Unimog page for example.

[edit] A problem with me being blocked on the Pro Wrestling Wikia

Right I guess I have to ask another staff member around here, right I’d just like to ask if you could either tell me what’s going on with the Pro Wrestling Wikia (I know this is a different place but I cant get on there or email you), you see 2 weeks ago I was blocked and I was fine with that since I knew why I was being blocked so I used that time to work on a few pages to add (which now is a rather large notepad with about 100+ pages of work in it which I‘m close to scrapping since I cant do anything with it), I tried to have a word with that Toughpigs guy on the Ring of Honor Wikia (since I wasn’t able to get onto the PW Wikia at the time) asking his opinion on an update/revamp of the info boxes on the PW Wikia, I thought a logical topic for his views on, however I find out that that same night 5 hours before my block was to end he unblocked me and then blocked me indefinitely with the reason of “more nonsense”, now I’m not one to complain about something like this when I know what’s going on but all I know is I asked the guy his opinion and he blocks me indefinitely for it, its not like I was saying I was going to wreck the Wikia, I simply asked for his view on updating the info boxes and that when my block was lifted I would put together a sort of preview with the new template (if you want to view the talk page in question its here), now I’m totally confused at to why I’m blocked and what I did to get blocked since I cannot get hold of either Toughpigs (I’ve sent an email and put a comment on the ROH Wikia both to no reply) and to Rob (sent him an email and cannot see the guy on MSN often due to different time zones) so I’m just stuck here in limbo with no clue what’s going on, I served my 2 weeks that Rob gave me but Toughpigs decided to ban me indefinitely for asking him a question which to me is just stupid.

Its funny as well as these guys seem to want to promote the wikia as an area not dominated by mainstream wrestling however they block someone who is actually adding more to the independent sections than anyone else.

Anyway the block ID is #2033.

I hope something positive can come out of this since their isn’t really anyone else I can actually try and get any info on this since they all seem to be ignoring me, only other way is the pot luck of waiting to see if Rob pops his head online any time soon.

Anyway, given the choice I wouldn’t of messaged you like this but my options are thinning as to what I can do, thanks in advanced if there is anything you can do, hell I’d just be happy to know why I’m blocked since to me it just seems it was due to me asking a question which is just stupid (if any of this is confusing I apologise but I’m starting to get annoyed as I cant do much more with this other than ask and wait which I hate doing).--TheWho87 20:05, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Hey Shawn, yup, I'm still interested in doing the bmx wiki. Sorry I didn't know anyone else who would be interested in helping. My brother is a national-level bmxer in his age group in New Zealand, but he doesn't use wikia (and isn't really interested in it), so that doesn't help.

Hi, Flaminglawyer - I think the best thing to do right now would be for you to focus on the Memphis Tigers wiki I set up for you yesterday. I left a welcome message for you there, and if you need any help doing anything I'll be glad to lend a hand. But when we give someone a wiki, we're mainly looking for them to start adding good content right away, and admin stuff comes second as more people start editing. Saying you have no intention to add content isn't an incentive for us to make you an admin elsewhere, but like I said, I'd be more than happy to help you get started with things on your Tigers wiki. I'm not sure where to propose this, since it doesn't really fit at Requests because it's not a new wiki, so I'll ask you: Can you set up mcr.wikia.com as a shortcut to MyChemicalRomance.wikia.com? Hi Shawn, we actually do most of our talking on the Gamefaqs board. I created a topic when the wiki was first created, which quickly reached somewhere between 150-200 posts. The topic has died out recently, which seems to correlate to the activity on the wiki as well. We should be getting back to our usual active selves though. As far as I know, we don't talk about it much on IRC or any other sort of communicative medium, but we're pretty rabid in our support of the NHL Board and as such seem to have fun adding things to it all the time.
