I'm trying to get rid of the "page title" on the main page of our wiki as it is pretty much superfluous. Is there an easy way of doing this that I am overlooking similar to getting rid of the TOC?

Hey! Thanks for the intro. Been working on the Elona wiki... Wonder if there's a way to add tables? I want to do a trainer by skill, city, and guild chart. Would be obscenely complicated without a table function.

Hello Richard. Just greetings from a fellow gamer and with some info about Namco's new Soul Calibur game. Some info about Darth Vader for the PS3 version of the game, his powers can't be used if the "Force Gauge" is completely drained, what happens if this occurs is that he will stagger at least a split second before recovering. And one of his moves which allows him to perform a Guard Impact but with the use of the Force, if properly timed, the move will not only repel normal and special moves but also unblockables as well. Hope that helps out some of the players out there trying to master the infamous Darth Vader. Thanks in advance should you happen to check your wiki page.

I asked on the forums if it was possible to get a dropdown Summaries thing, someone said you created one for the Metroid wiki. I want to create one for just me. Now I presume I know how to do that; but I also want to keep the code just on my subpage, meaning no templates used; is this possible? Hey there! Can you drop by my Community Portal and assist me with something? For some reason, the header bar for "Player Portal" is colored in, boxed, etc, but for "Creator Portal" it is not. Can you show me how to fix this? I basically pulled the code off the main page, but it didn't work right. I tweaked it a little bit and got the Player one right, but not the other.

Can you describe how to fix it in order to fix it myself in the future if ever it happens again?

We're wanting to add guides & tips articles that will each be written by a single author, containing their own subjective opinions, and we're trying to work out how to organise it: what naming convention to use for articles etc. So rather than re-invent the wheel, I was wondering if you knew anything about how other gaming wikis do this, if indeed they do (I haven't been able to find any that have this sort of material yet!).

I was editing several pages and about one hour ago imagines started to have trouble loading. Then it gave me a message about wikia have server problems, and not the wiki.png image is not loading for any of the pages. However, when I go and inspect Image:wiki.png it shows up fine there. Hey Richard. wanted to thank you for looking at the wiki i've started, anyways i'll just get to the point. I'm having trouble getting crystal clear pictures for chromehounds because it runs on the Xbox 360 and i dont have the 'hardware' to screen pictures and import them onto my computer. Could you do me a favour and give me some advice/find someone who can take said pictures? Thanks Oh yeah almost forgot, I want to import videos and I dont have a clue what format to use. How do I go about changing the skin of my Wiki?

Also, I tried a importing infoboxes from other Wikis and from Wikipedia via copy paste. They don't work. Why is that?

This is Halberdier of Custom Robo Wiki,

I'd like to thank you for unprotecting the main page. Also, I did contact the admin of the site. The other two are "NPC's" that he created (at least I think he created them); basically, they're bots that don't do anything (or something along those lines.) Thus, in reality, I have no real way to become an admin on the site unless:

  1. The only human admin on the site, Murzon, comes back, or
  2. I get the request for adoption approved

Unfortunately, I don't believe either of those will happen anytime soon. Thanks for the help though.

Ok I tried to talk to him to either edit the front page or to lift the Block on it. I Talked on his Talk page. Is there a rule on this? I know he's the Mod to that Wikia and yes I'm Mod'ing one, but seriously this wikia has a lot to offer. The front page needs to be accessible. It's a shame that its being shut like that.

Hey there. Got a question / request for you. On the Character Infobox and the Createplate that uses it, I'd like to be able to create a formal stat block, but I can't get the spacing and columns right. I need the middle section to stay normal (two columns) and the bottom section to have a total of six columns (three entries with three labels per row). I can get the Createplate updated myself, I just can't get the infobox to show up correctly (the middle section gets squeezed together). Can you take a look? Thanks! Avery W. That's exactly what I wanted. So I have to set a colspan on every line until the last time a colspan should change, then set it with a ! ? I should be able to fix the createplate to match myself. Thanks for your help! Avery W. Krouse 20:10, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

I've uploaded a Wiki.png image but it won't override the default...what am I doing wrong? I haven't selected a custom style from the settings, which shouldn't matter here anyway I suppose.
