Welcome to Central Wikia, Tedjuh10!

We're a friendly community here; most of us are active on an individual wiki, and many of us are active on more than one.

If you're looking for help, a help wiki can be found here, and you're welcome to ask the community questions on the Help Desk. If you need assistance from a staff member, you can contact the Community Team using Special:Contact.

You can get live help from community members and staff in our IRC channel. There are also channels for larger Wikia and their communities. Here you can socialize and get to know your community!

If you have an idea for a new wiki, please create one! Check out our list of new wikis and see if any of them interest you. A directory of existing wikis is also available.

[edit] Nederlandse dofus wiki

Hoi,

Ik vraag me af waarom je een userpage gemaakt hebt op de nederlandse wiki over dofus. Behalve het maken van een userpage en de overleg pagina heb je nog niets anders gedaan voor die wiki, en volgens mij ziet het er niet naar uit dat je dat in de toekomst wel gaat doen, dus was is dan het nut van je userpage daar? Afgezien van de reclame voor de hulp wiki die erop staat.

Ik vroeg niet naar het nut van een gebruikerspagina in zijn algemeenheid, maar naar het nut van jouw gebruikerspagina op iedere nederlandse wiki die je tegenkomt. De dofus wiki als voorbeeld. Waarom zou jouw gebruikerspagina daar moeten staan? Je kent het spel hoogstwaarschijnlijk niet eens, laat staan dat je er mensen mee kan helpen.

Waarom is het voor gebruikers van een wiki over dofus dan handig als ze weten dat ze met jou te maken hebben? Dát is wat ik niet snap.

Ook vind ik jouw gebruikerspagina behoorlijk onbeschoft. Het enige wat erop staat zijn een hoop links naar andere wiki's, en dat valt toch onder reclame?

Je gebruikerspagina heeft niets met dofus te maken, en dat is juist het doel van de hele wiki. Koentjuh1 17:29, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Unencyclopedia is a part of the Wikia community, yes. Why wouldn't it be allowed?

I'd hazard a guess that it's because "w:c:answers" links directly to the English Answers wiki and "Answers" links to the page where all language versions are listed. -- Porter21 ^(talk) 15:23, September 26, 2009 (UTC)

I'm inclined to disagree, that's more cause to edit the first link.

Hey. I've noticed over the last week or so when I go to clean out the pages marked with Template:i that you've been mistakenly tagging user images for deletion (like here). Before you add the {{i}} template, can you just check what pages it links to? If an image links to a userpage, just add {{Userpageimage}} to it. It'll just help streamline things for admins going through Wikia:Maintenance/i to clear it out. Thanks, Greyman ^Talk 17:13, October 9, 2009 (UTC)

• I know what the policy states, and if users abuse the upload function, that's one thing — that's where research comes into play. But you gotta give people a chance. Some people may only come to Central Wikia once to create their userpage linking to another wiki, for example, and then never edit it again. Just take note, is all I'm saying. Wait, one last question. Say I put the code you wrote into a template, let's say for example on "User:Daedryon/SpoilerBox".

How would I then use that code? Would it be {{User:Daedryon/SpoilerBox|Content goes here}}? ^T 20:55, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

Sorry for all the messages. One last thing. Is there a way to resize the box so it's not the width of the entire screen?

Actually, I figured out how to change the width, except there's a problem. I went and added a border into the code manually, despite the fact that the code already has it's own border, so now I have a grey border, and a smaller gold border inside (the one I added). And when I resize the spoiler box's width, only the gold border shrinks, not the grey border. But I really don't care, as long as I have spoiler boxes on my page, I'm happy. Thanks man!
