[edit] Shout Box

Excuse me Uberfuzzy, but I need help. For some reason, the Shout Box function isn't working properly for me. Whenever I try and post a comment, it shows the visual for loading, but nothing happens! What's more, whenever I go to a different page, the shout box disappears, regardless of wether or not I tried to leave a message! I'm not having this trouble with other widgets, and it's happening on all the wikis! Could you help me?--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 22:18, October 15, 2009 (UTC)

Believe me, I know that much (it affecting multiple Users). In fact, it's also affecting Twilight, a User I know (who do you think gave him the link to your talkpage?). Uberfuzzy, have you made any progress or not!? Sorry, but the Shout Box seems to have deteriorated even further! The loading bar doesn't even show now! Hey Uber,

I was just checking up with this bug. As a reminder, when an image is moved, it leaves a redirect, and the redirect shows up in Special:Unused files, even though the image it is redirecting to is being used. It basically floods Unused files with useless data. We discussed how you were seeing it not as a bug, since the new name of the image isn't used anywhere, thereby making the image actually being unused while the redirect is being used.

Anyhow, my peeps asked about the ticket status, so I figured I'd ping you. :)

In the page source sent to your browser, the sidebar is loaded after the page content. Maybe something in your page is stalling out the page from loading. There seems to be a lot of content under "What's new on Sonic Fanon Wiki" section, including that animated image from someone's signature, and a few polls. It could also be something from the spotlights, or ads that are stalling out your page from loading, such as if you have an incorrectly setup adblocking system. Or it could be from some other unknown piece of code stalling out the page from loading. Have you tried clearing out your browser's cache files? --Uberfuzzy 21:02, October 26, 2009 (UTC)

I am losing my internet for a while and am TRYING to promote another user (User: Pikmin Master) to admin status to cover things while I am gone. But for some reason I cannot access (Special:UserRights) to promote him. Can you help with this problem? Please let me know if you can on my talk page over on the wiki. Please give the IP 83.161.230.43 a cross wikia bann. That means a block on every single wikia there is. I am sure such an action is a possibility. And this IP has been vandalising ever since 2007 on every single wikia it is on. The user (Pierlot, Klaast, PatatjeOorlog) curses, threatens other users repeatedly and removes text from articles. He has been given numerous changes. Not just one. Or two. Or even ten chances. No. He has been given as many as 30 chances if not more. And now it is over. Only a crosswiki bann can stop him. He keeps staling and harassing me and others, and he does not stop. Every single Wikistad user agrees this is the best solution.

He vandalises on several wikia projects. On WikiStad, WikiNation, Fictieve Landen, Spoorwegen Wiki and on every other website he is on. Every single time I try to reason with him, he either insults me, threatens me or symply revert my edits. I try to ask him to stop. And he threatens me to die.

That is roughly what he is telling me. He also wants me to catch deadly desceases. And he compares me to Adolf Hitler. He is incredebley racist. He call other users "aapjes" ("little monkeys") and he wants us to get cancer... he keeps doing this vandalism. And nobody can stop him. He has been banned on WikiStad. But on the other wikias, he continues his blatant vandalism. Only a crosswiki bann can stop this crazy guy. The things he is saying are very disturbing. Dr. Magnus 19:08, November 1, 2009 (UTC)

Hey, a few months ago, I had an idea for putting a lot more light on featured articles. At the beginning of the day, eight outstanding articles are chosen to be randomly displayed in a bar at the bottom of each page, which can hold a link to four of the pages, as well as the first three sentences, or 300 characters, of the pages being displayed, whichever comes first. When the user clicks "More", they go to a page containing the first 500 characters of each article. Also displayed in the bar is a "User of the Month", with the user's name and a short summary of how they have contributed to the wiki.
