[edit] Wikicode
Hi, I saw you on Literature, you said you can help with wikicode. What I need is a program to split a big file (1.5MB) in 30 chunks for better browsing. I want to do it, if you could tell me where I can find information about wikicode API... If I can use that, being a normal user.
Thanks in advance, Davichito 16:05, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- hi. sorry for the delay in getting back to this. i read it and went to reply, and had some computer related issues come up and forgot about it.
- for raw spliting of a text file, i would use split.exe from http://unxutils.sourceforge.net/ i dont think it does by number, only by size, but thats nothing a little math cant figure out.
- not sure what you mean by the wiki API. there is one, (not sure if its turned on fully at wikia) but its more for machine-to-machine interaction with the wiki database

[edit] Unfair Uncyclopedia "block"
My account at Uncyclopedia, Kurgan, is unable to edit pages and a message on the lines of this pops up: "Your user name has been blocked by Uberfuzzy for the following reasons: This username is prevented from editing due to vandalism or other disruption by a user with a similar name". This has been going on for about a week, and I checked the block log and IP block list, and nobody else named "Kurgan" or anyone with "Kurgan" it their username was blocked between now and then. I would like to know what is going on and wht I can't edit pages. --Kurgan (established Uncyclopedia editor) 03:22, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- fixed. block removed. was blocked in the midst of a larger vandal storm at the time. your actions at the at exact movement were looking like they were of the vandal's MO. sorry for the inconvenience. --Uberfuzzy 03:33, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- I went on, and I still couldn't edit. My name never showed up in the block log, so that must mean I wasn't blocked directly, and my IP could still edit, so I wasn't autoblocked. It seems like there is a new username blacklist or something that inadvertently affects established editors is my theory. I don't know if this is rught, but whatever it is, I just want to be able to edit again. --Kurgan (established Uncyclopedia editor) 10:59, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- it seems there was a glitch in the system, the unblocking stuff wasnt going through correctly. try again and let me know if your still blocked at uncyc. sorry again. --Uberfuzzy 11:20, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. I can edit again! --Kurgan (established Uncyclopedia editor) 17:02, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Kurgan is an established vandal at Liberapedia, One of many unpleasant examples. At the worst time he turned up with slightly different usernames between 1 and 3 times a week. He may well have found ways to vandalize Uncyclopedia. Kurgan has left Liberapedia alone since Liberapedia joined Wikia. I hope this will continue. Barbara Shack 17:21, 28 June 2008 (UTC) .
- thank you. we will take this into consideration when dealing with this user/username in the future. --Uberfuzzy 01:19, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Kurgan vandalized at Left Space recently.Barbara Shack 19:28, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
- you know, i seriously wonder what the world could accomplish if people that have this much time to do nothing could be harnessed... thanks. seems to be messing with non-standard characters, thats how it got passed the current filters. we're adjusting them accordingly.

[edit] Your template
Seems the template on your Tibiawiki userpage ([1]) doesn't link properly, in case you feel like fixing it. Links to Help:Help:Spam, Help:Help:ProblemReports and c:User_talk:Uberfuzzy, all are inexistent. Haven't checked other wiki's, though -- Sixorish 01:28, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
- heh, your right, they used to work, i guess they changed something. i've fixed the links so they will always work, it might take a little bit for the changes to show up on other wikis, the method i use to include that is weird and doesnt always update fast. thanks --Uberfuzzy 01:37, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
