Wikia:Press: Age of Conan Wiki now on Wikia

SAN MATEO, Calif., June 22, 2007 - Wikia, Inc. (www.wikia.com) the leading provider of community resources for building and organizing free information on every topic, today announced the Age of Conan (AoC) Wiki (aocwiki.org), a fully editable website created and run by fans of the soon-to-be-released online action role playing gaming (RPG) being developed by Funcom, to continue the community's efforts to build-out game-related content online.

“The Age of Conan Wiki is a community with all the key elements,” said Jimmy Wales, co-founder and chairman, Wikia. “It's got passionate, creative users who value being able to collaborate around a common interest. The AoC Wiki already includes nearly 700 articles on everything from key game terms, to world maps, to prestige classes and more. With the game not slated to be released until late October, fans can visit the AoC Wiki to browse an entire section of screenshots (see: aocwiki.org/Screenshots) showing various areas of the game such as Khemi, Broken Leg Glen, Frost Swamp, Tortage and more .
