Hi, in my computer, all the wikia's sptolights are in spanish, I don't know if you understand me. For example, the spotlights are from .es (es.mortalkombat.wikia.com or es.fringe.wikia.com) How can I change that so that the spotlights will be in english? Spotlights are based on the language of the wiki. So I guess you mean es.american-idol.wikia.com? That will always show Spanish spotlights... after all, the readers are most likely to be Spanish speakers :) -- sannse

It's possible that your computer has stored the images, and is serving them whatever site you vist (although that seems strange in this case). You could try clearing your browser cache and cookies (look on Google to find how to do this) -- sannse

Hi sannse, user Rocerus Golden-Feather has copied information from my wiki, http://james-camerons-avatar.wikia.com and passed it to http://avatar-film.wikia.com. I think that the last wiki should be eliminated, because it is a copy. Thanks for your help. Hi, all content on Wikia is under a free license, which means that copying is allowed... but... that's only if proper attribution is given. You need to ask the person who copied the content to add proper attribution to each page, or to delete it -- sannse

Fringepedia to FringeWiki was illegal because the licensing on the wikis were different. FringePedia was under cc-by-nc-nd a.k.a. non-commerical, no derivative works. They weren't part of Wikia, so had different licensing which made them uncompatable (Wikia is commercial). — Balistic 03:27, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

Still, I think that http://avatar-film.wikia.com/ should be closed and redirected to http://james-camerons-avatar.wikia.com as the latter is more popular and the former is just a copy. Even the Wikia Entertainment "What's Hot!" links to the latter. — Balistic 03:28, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

I've heard of people using an image-based counter before, but haven't seen it done recently and don't know how well it works. Possibly you could ask on the forums about this. Wikia gives some stats at Special:WikiaStats, but that doesn't include page views I'm afraid. It's certainly something we hope to include some time in the future though -- sannse

I clicked onto this link which was a paid for advertisement about astronomy on Liberapedia. My Norton Anit-virus told me the site is unsafe and threatens my computer. Hello Sannse, I'm Station7 and I have a few questions where you maybe me can help with. First of all I'm from The Netherlands, so if my english is too bad that you can't read it, please say it to me.

1. On my Lost: The Journey The Conspiracy of Truth I have copied an infobox, but I need more information to have a good infobox. Here is the link to the infobox, maybe you can fix it. This is an example that I have copied from a good friedn on the Harry Potter wiki, named Seth cooper and he said that I have to come with to the Wiki Staff.
2. It says that there Template Rb in red, do I need that?
3. I have a problem since I'm adminstrator there. Everything I do something with images, even if don't have them, there appears then one puzzle.
4. Do I have to make an second accountant, so I can work better?

The thing is, I did not did any vandalism, and have not abused multiple accounts. I have, however, used very provocative language to Pierlot. This was, however, because he was vandalising pages and really got on my nerves. All I did was reverting his vandalism, and at some point, I lost control and began cursing and using provocative language. I do not deny this. And yes, I believe I deserved to be blocked. But he (Pierlot) deserves a block himself. As you know first hand, Sannse, Pierlot has been a known sockpuppeteer on several wikia's and a terrible vandal who did much harm to many people and many sites. I have, to be honest with you, a rather similar reputation. However, it is now being used against me, while he (Pierlot) gets away with it. Which I believe is unfair. I therefore ask you to visit http://nation.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page. This website is similar to the Dutch site Wikistad, although this is an English language site run by mainly Dutch people. I would like you to go there and give both user Pierlot, and "McCrooke" and their IP-adresses a block of one month, which is the exact same block I got. As he has done the same vandalism and even worse as I have, I believe this to be fair. An eye for an eye, right? You cannot give two people different blocks for basically doing the same things, breaking the same rules... note: ever since I and several others have campaigned her for a crosswiki block for Pierlot, he hates me and out of this hatred he has of me, he keeps trying to get me into trouble, to get me blocked, banned... How do I delete this other article on Septimus Heap titled "Septimus Heap"? There's another article titled "Septimus Heap (character)" that's much better and more informative. Yet searches for Septimus Heap lead directly to the less informative one. I figured we might as well erase that to fix the problem. How exactly is that done?
