Wikia does not generally accept requests for individual school or university communities, but you are very welcome to form a sub-wiki at the existing Students Wikia, or in the Dutch language Onderwijs Wikia.

You can make a portal for a school or university within the students wiki, and add category tags to distinguish which pages relate to your own institution. You can do this by typing [[Category:University name]] on your pages. By using "related changes", you can view the changes made just to the pages relating to your own school or university, rather than the changes of the entire wiki. For example, Special:Recentchangeslinked/Category:Help shows changes made just to the help pages on this wiki.

A students wiki mailing list is available for discussion of all issues related to the students wiki.

If you can demonstrate that there is a large enough community willing to create content and maintain a wiki separate from the Students wiki, please request a wiki, giving a detailed description of why you feel your school or university needs its own wiki.
