Wikia - creating communities
When will the next update be? The page says that "These are regenerated every week", but they haven't been updated since June 13. I'm just asking since I promised to fork a wiki for a community. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk) (Deeds) 19:10, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

When we click the Request button there should be some kind of response e.g., "check back here in about an hour", instead of just seeming to do nothing. It is not clear when one should check back. Also there is no separate button for just requesting a fresher current backup instead of wastefully both. Jidanni 09:39, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit] ATTENTION: We need the logs from a wiki to complete our copy of the wiki
We have an xml backup of the wiki pages. We have the images imported. However if you look on image pages for example, the comments and possibly other information is missing from each image. Instead we see "((recovered file, missing upload log entry))" ...which seems to imply this info is derived from the wiki's logs. So in order to have a complete copy of this wiki it seems we require these logs!!
Please let us know if/how we can obtain these logs as soon as possible... --12.213.80.54 03:28, September 6, 2009 (UTC)
