Wikia - creating communities

The fairly new (well - still called "New" on Help:Improving your wikicity) Template:main is at least the second Central Wikia page designed specifically for use on individual wikicities.

The first I remember was the project:Wikia tour page with its related category, etc, all of which are copied to one's own wikicity. Then there are the other templates, which can all be used "as is" simply by using the "w:" prefix; but I expect most of them were designed to be used here, with the other-wikicity use being a bonus.

We should have more of this! In the dozen or so wikicities to which I have contributed more than a few paragraphs, much of what I considered desirable has been copied either from here or (more often) from what I had written on another wikicity. It would be best if the best version of each could be here (well-signposted; for example, on Help:Improving your wikicity and maybe some of the model pages themselves) for everyone to copy direct and for interested contributors to improve further.
