[edit] New Archive

Wow, you archived your talk! How good, I'm the first to leave you a message. --Dragon Slayer (Contribs Count) 19:43, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Thanks for the update. Vincento 23:40, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Yu-Gi-Oh! GX manga card images

Heya, I've got a few GX manga card images to upload. But I've noticed a few diffrences between Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX images:

  • The card names, Level Stars, ATK and DEF are all smaller on the GX ones.
  • Below the card names on Spell Cards in Duelist, they use [Spell Card], in GX they use (Spell Card). Same with Traps.
  • ATK and DEF are formatted ATK / 2000 in Duelist and ATK 2000' in GX.

Is it worth sticking -GX at the end of the filenames, before I upload them? -- Deltaneos 09:48, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] The Beginning of the End

Then why is the cost and effect in the same sentence. If it was just 'Remove 5 DARK monsters out of play. Then, draw 3 cards.', you would be right, but since there is no full stop between them, it is the cost and effect.

[edit] Namespace Stuff

Hey ... I just wanted to check to make sure that all of your namespace issues are now resolved. Is that the case? We have an open ticket to help move articles for your new namespaces, but as far as I know we have everything taken care of. Thanks! --KyleH@Wikia (talk) 21:09, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Battle Phase

  • In the Battle Phase when you attack a monster do you calculate damage first,or does the monster get destroyed first?
  • I understand. But,a person keeps bugging me about Skyscraper and I showed him the Battle Phase Breakdown. He said that my monster gets destroyed and his monster doesn't.He
says that it's because of Skyscraper's text.It says Damage Calculation Only.Battle Phase Breakdown says:Sub Step:Damage Calculation,Sub Step:Monster gets destroyed.Does this mean that my opponent's monster doesn't get destroyed? Please explain if you understand what I mean.

  • Thanks!

[edit] Please Explain Undo

Hi,

I noticed you undid my token images with the comment "We don't want these images."

1) Who is "we"? I thought this was a wiki. A community where everyone gets to improve things. Is this not the case? If so, I can certainly leave things alone and not contribute.

2) Secondly, it bothers me that the token images that are included are in clear violation of copyright laws. Especially, given the fact that they include a false copyright law on the bottom of the card. My images are original, uncopyrighted and free for everyone to use.

Thanks for any explanation you care to give.

[edit] Little Experiment

  • I guess if your little experiment works, mass editing won't have to be done. Dmaster (Contribs Count) 22:59, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
    • Good tell me if it works(so I can continue or stop). Oh and please block this jerk User:Nick11asd6674a Dmaster (Contribs Count) 23:06, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
      • Ok I'm not sure if your "little experiment" effected what I was doing. Long story short I asked Tyrant Slayer if any "chores" needed to be done and one was replacing {{Navigation2}}. Did that envolve what you were doing and if it didn't when I search {{Navigation2}} what box needs to be checked. Thanks in advance. Dmaster (Contribs Count) 23:19, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
        • In addition to the above question is there anyway to "Check Out" so ever one knows your done(I know, weird idea but it is what I do). Dmaster (Contribs Count) 00:48, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Call of the Earthbound and Zoma the Spirit's rulings

"Call of the Earthbound" is called "Earthbound Spirit's Invitation" in its rulings and is listed in the Es on the ude website. Pretty odd. Obvously we'll still record them in Card Rulings:Call of the Earthbound', but should we correct the names? ie leave it as

"Earthbound Spirit's Invitation" does not target

or change it to

"Call of the Earthbound's Invitation" does not target?

-- Deltaneos 21:28, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

They also did it with "Zoma the Spirit"/"Skull Zoma". -- Deltaneos 21:30, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Card Lores

About those last few lores pages... I had forgotten entirely about your template. I'll wait until yours is finished now. But are we still including Japanese texts on Card Articles, using {{{japlore}}}? -- Deltaneos 17:00, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] MFC-AE?

Are you sure Magician's Force was printed with AE as a langiage id? Didn't that only start at the 2004 Series and any Asian-English before that had no language id? -- Deltaneos 23:50, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Forum Problem

What's the usual penalty for spamming and flaming? --Deus Ex Machina 17:55, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Feedback appreciated

Hi there, I was trying to start a discussion here but isn't quite successful. Can I at least get your view on it? I don't want to assume that a "lack of opposition" as a "go ahead" to do whatever I think is good for the wiki. Thanks! -User:PanSola(talk/history)

[edit] Light Lord?

I noticed you mentioned a "light lord" card. Are these from the new set and if so what site features information on these cards. --Lord of Dragons 00:26, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Macro Cosmos/Dimensional Fissure vs. Necro Valley

Okay, so I've had this long standing debate with a friend of mine who runs a Gravekeeper's Deck. Personally, a very good and flexible deck in my view, but he challenges my Removal Deck by saying that Macro Cosmos or Dimensional Fissure won't effect the way Necro Valley works. My issue is that in Macro Cosmos's card text it states that when a monster is sent to the Graveyard, instead it is sent directly to the Remove from Play pile. My friend contests that the effect is negated, but when I read Necro Valley it states nothing about negating the effect of something that doesn't even hit the graveyard, but is instead removed.

Please help me figure this one out by emailing me at D_SHumphreys@verizon.net and telling me what the truth behind this match up is.

[edit] Quick Question

Sorry to bother you but I was just asking about the new naming for images. When we upload new images do you want the edition on the file name or just for the newer sets? This would be very helpful for me thanks. Vincento 00:14, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Okay thanks. I'll upload them in the new format then and just fix the card gallery to help with the transition. Vincento 00:24, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ideal808.com

Are we aloud to use pictures for Ideal808.com to upload? Dmaster 23:41, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Help:Contents "A good source of pix is ideal808.com. Even there, though, you need to keep a close eye on the stuff you save off, as although most of their pix are clean, some (although very few) are marked." - I would say yes, based on that. Yami 23:57, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] English manga names

They were revealed in this month's Jump. Check the images Pcouw uploaded today. Rodtheanimegod4ever 02:41, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] LE12

Hm Yes... Rodtheanimegod4ever 14:27, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

    • If they are Synchros, stick the Effect versions in Anime/Manga Appearances, as they're obviously the same cards. We don't count Gernia as two cards because he's Normal in the anime and Effect in the game, do we? Rodtheanimegod4ever 14:42, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
