Mymoorapelta was a primitive Ankylosaur. It was one of a few Ankylosaurs that lived in the Jurassic period. It was named after Mygatt-Moore Quarry in Colorado. It did not grow very large, and only measured around 3 meters. By analyzing the skeletons of Mymoorapelta and its later cousins, scientists can see their evolution over time. |
