Ok, I think it's finally time that we decide together how we should really style our titles.

In our Gaiapedia:Article Style page it states that we do not use Title Case, but this decision was made by our old founder alone. She no longer attends this Wiki, and her control over the Wiki was during a time where the Wiki was dysfunctional.

Comparing the old Gaiapedia to the Gaiapedia which we have now doesn't say much for how the Wiki was while Alyssachanpc was the founder. The old Wiki was disorganized, uncategorized, lacked good universal formatting, a good site style, and made little use of advanced methods which now make our Wiki much easier to keep clean (We can even change the style of every item page in the new format with very simple changes.)

Maybe I should just state this. But I'm drawn towards Capitalization. Not capitalizing every words. It's kinda neurological, but for some reason part of my brain is affected by my unfortunate Tourette Syndrome and I like having all words except unimportant words Capitalized.

If you're wondering the difference between Sentence Case(The style the old Founder choose), and Title Case(The Style I prefer(And all books and encyclopedias use)). Is that in sentence case only Proper Nouns, Locations, and Names are Capitalized. While in Title Case(Or Book Case), all words except small unimportant words such as "and", "in", "the", etc... Are Capitalized (There is the exception for the letter at the start of the title.)

Basically in Sentence case we would write "Article style" and "Manual of style", while in Title Case we would write "Article Style" and "Manual of Style".

We also half to address the case most of our writers like titles. If you view Special:Allpages and look through the list, our writers seam to have opted out of the Article Style the old founder choose and against her standard are using Title Case instead. In fact if you look close enough, only some real, real old articles actually still use Sentence Case for titles, and even many of the old articles ignore Sentence Case and use Title Case instead.

While you think about your choice, don't make a second thought about how many links a certain type of style has, or what we're doing with names(Those are still the same), or anything else. Just think about what you like, and what you think the majority of our editors and readers would prefer to see in the titles. Remember, no matter how many links or articles there are of a certain style, a few minutes with a bot and everything will be the same.

Feel free to make comments to.

Here is the question: Should we use Sentence case or Title Case(Book/Encyclopedia Case)?

Answer: Sentence case, or Title Case.

Guys, remember that if you guys don't state any opinions every decision automatically defaults to what I want. If no-one comes up with a counter statement then I'm going to half to go ahead and revamp the rules the way I see fit. I would prefer some moral backing to that if I can have it. Well, I guess we're just going to use Title Case from now on. Dantman (Talk) 23:22, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Kinda late for someone who just started to make an opinion. Title Case has already been chosen! Dantman (Talk) 00:29, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
