We've come up with a cool way to get your wiki indexed in blog search engines

[edit] Here's how it works

Add snippets of your best articles to include in the blog search using the following wiki-mark up:

<blog title="Name of your article or other catchy headline">Snippet from your articles about 2-3 sentences long </blog>

You can only make one post at a time, and the newest one should be displayed at the top of the page.

These snippets will be displayed on a blog and sent out to the various blog search engines.

To create Inside Wikia's blog, we created a page called MediaWiki:Blog_snippet and added snippets from several of our different "What's New" articles.

This is refreshed every 10 minutes on our blog http://blogs.wikia.com/inside
