Mozilla Firefox is a free, cross-platform web-browser developed by the Mozilla Foundation and many other volunteers. Its more popular features include tabbed browsing, pop-up blocking, themes and extensions, live bookmarks, web-standards support, and higher security than many other browsers (such as Internet Explorer). Firefox is open-source.

Firefox's popularity has grown at an increasing rate, with 25,000,000 downloads of its latest release already, which was released November 9th, 2004. Firefox is aiming at securing 10% of the browser-usage share by the end of 2005. As of March, 2005, it currently has 5.7%.
